Who We Are
We are a student led initiative dedicated to the global health debate |
Even in 400BC, renowned physician Hippocrates acknowledged the interdependence of humans, animals and nature. Medical professionals, vets, social scientists, engineers, environmentalists and others are needed to drive forward improvements in global health. Whilst infectious diseases play an important role in the World’s health, a broader view must be taken to fully tackle the issues being faced today and tomorrow. Fields including food safety, biodiversity, climate change, the pharmaceutical industry, mental health, communicable and non-communicable disease must all be considered and incorporated into the debate.
